Secret Garden

The card on the left was my first attempt at Secret Garden - I found it very daunting with the perspective and there's so much going on, so many layers. It'd be lovely decoupaged, but not a task for the faint hearted. The background cardstock is Core'dinations Color Core in Latte, the patterned paper is from the latest Papermania A4 Signature Christmas textured paper pack - which is so gorgeous, very Victorian looking which I think suit's the Secret Garden theme. My main embellishment on here is a beautiful piece of laser cut paper - it's a happy accident that I came across it in my embellishments box; I'd forgotten I'd got it. I think it's perfect!
My other creation is a calendar for my Gran. Aaah! I just had to use this image to make something for her as she kept a flower nursery with my much missed Grandad for over 50 years. She still has a hand in the family business, Christmas wreath making and flowers for weddings - she's only 84 and a Great Great Grandma! :D Mo's Secret Garden reminded me so much of my childhood summer holidays - running around the greenhouses, feeding the chickens and pinching strawberries when no-one was around! Happy days. xxx
