I've just finished a late night card making session and being a busy mum I pondered why, with everything else going on, I'm compelled to make my cards. Then it dawned on me, not only were my creations keeping my mind active, there was an added bonus; there is, a certain satisfaction in standing back and looking at one of my creations ... thinking;
"If I saw that card in a shop ... I just couldn't afford to but it!"
So maybe I'll allow myself a little time to finish my creations the wrong side of midnight instead of muttering to myself;
" Put the card down and walk away, PUT the card DOWN and walk away!"

I'm with you 100%! I don't think I've seen my bed much before 2am for the last couple of weeks!! It's peaceful.. and such a good feeling when you finally go to bed and have accomplished something! I just get miffed that there's no daylight to take a picture at 2am!! lol
